Here, we stand on this step,
Stripped off, crying, begging,
Hurt, tortured and dead,
Repenting and turned into art
Our shame for show
It was our fault after all
No matter what you gave us
It was we who took the sip
The deadly sip of communism. 

We believed in your hypocrisies,
We believed in your fallacies,
We believed you had united us,
We believed that the deadliest poison you had given us
Was the manna from heaven
You gave us the Devil in disguise
And we were all shattered forever.

Now we stand forever without fear
We have given it all, we have nothing to lose
We have nothing to lose, nothing to fear
We stand brave today, we stand immortal.
