The Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh, Scotland, UK

The royal castle of Edinburgh,

Its robust structure,

A thousand years but not a damp,

Oh! How perfect, How strong!

Through the tunnels,

A young piper walked,

Ran away to endlessness,

Oh! The Lone Piper lives!

Dogs won them battles, 

The furry soldiers fought with valor,

Wrapped up in Scottish cloth,

Oh! Their noble deaths!

Rot the prisoners in the jail,

Hanged the Pirates of Caribbean,

Carved was the great flag of America,

Oh! Imprisoned misery!

The Great Old Chapel,

Saint Margaret protects it,

Her piety, her selflessness, 

Oh! The godly figure!

Whose was the majestic castle,

The rulers of Europe,

The Brits, The Scots,

Or a gift to the world itself!
